Informations about the club
The club was established in 1995 in Prague to became a part of support
for organic farming movement in Czech republic and to enable people
living in Prague to buy fresh organic products.
In the these days, October 2004, there is about 300 members in the club
and some very nice personal
relations with more than 27 organic farmers from Czech republic have been made.
About 1000 kg of organic fruit and vegetables are sold every month.
There are no limitations, no fees - simply
just order some products from the club offer to become a club member.
Club members can order vegetables, herbs, fruits, goat milk products,
cow milk products, eggs, honey, etc. - the offer of organic products is
seasonal.
There is also wide range of additional products to fresh organic
products from local family farms. In clubs shops we are offering
household products, cosmetics, and organic food products from
other counries.
Orders have to be made usually about 6 days before a collection
of ordered products. This is a period necessary
to get in products from farms to the club distribution places. The collection
day is usually every Tuesday. Actual products offer
is published on the club web pages and members can make their orders
using web form, e-mail, fax, or phone.
Club member can collect ordered produts personaly at club distribution places
or employ courier delivery.
In Prague there are about 5 distributions places:
in Praha 8, Dablice, in Praha 6, Ruzyne, in Praha 2, Vinohrady,
in Praha 10, Hostivar and in Praha west district, Cernosice.
During meetings on collection days members can borrow or buy agroturistic
catalogues, books and magazines about organic farming in Czech republic.
